    I love this place! ...To stay here is so good ... everyone is super nice ... the drinks are good... the bar tenders are fun!... the food is better than what I've had around the Neighborhood...happy hour is very nice too...I'll defiantly be back soon... thanks

    I had a great experience here for my first stay at the hotel. The bartender Dale was welcoming and punctual, made me feel like an old friend. I sat in the perfect little spot to people watch. I ordered food and it was fresh and quality. The bill was a bit steep but for the experience I'd say it was worth it.

    My boyfriend and I found this bar/hotel about a year ago when we were wondering through gaslamp. We are both young but all the bars looked crazy and we just wanted to sit, talk, and be mellow with a drink. This place, inside the hotel, was perfect. The drinks were good, it was a more mature setting (and we were 27 at the time). We came back to this place a couple of days ago and you drinks were still good, the employees nice, and the people were talking and having fun, without being overly roudy. I plan to come back next time I'm in San Diego.

    The bar staff did nothing but bash the current president. I didn't sit down to talk politics but I had to sit through listening to the bartender and manager talk trash about the current elected officials.  I was taught to never discuss politics in a bar. Just my opinion.

    My wife and I are staying at the Residence Inn upstairs and decided to order takeout from the bar. I ordered the burger and fries and she got the tomato basil soup with the grilled cheese. Food was finished in the time quoted, and when I went to pick it up, the bartender was very friendly. We both thought the food was good, and my burger was cooked the way I asked. All in all I have no complaints.
